Fair Use Policy
Last updated: March 15, 2026
We built slateforms to be as open and generous as possible. We want you to build great things without constantly checking a usage meter. However, to keep the lights on and ensure the platform stays fast for everyone, we have to set some common-sense boundaries.
The Numbers
These are the maximum limits for your overall presence on the platform. We've set them high enough that 99% of you will never even see them.
Total forms: Up to 1,000 active forms.
Form size: Up to 300 blocks per form (to keep load times snappy).
Monthly traffic: Up to 50,000 submissions across all your forms.
Text length: Up to 15,000 characters per text block.
Why we do this
We aren't fans of restrictive caps, but these rules prevent automated abuse and ensure that one "viral" form doesn't slow down the experience for every other user. It’s about keeping Slateforms fast, free, and fair for the whole community.
Changes
If we ever need to tweak these numbers, we’ll update the "Last updated" date above. If you keep using Slateforms after a change, we'll assume you’re cool with the new limits.
Need more?
If your project is huge or you’re running a major operation that needs more room, we’re happy to chat. Reach out to us at support@slateforms.com and we’ll see how we can help you scale.
